Nice little video of an LR3. A intersting note here would be how much more effective chains would be with MT tires.

i'm bored to

chains are a great addition to MT tires
I used them on military vehicles and they make a tremendous difference they act almost as paddles.

on the JK spacers like teraflex spacers are required to clear.
when i get a set of spacers i will look into a set of chains as well

Have you ever used them in mud?

I'm debating whether they would be helpful in real boggy situation or would they be more of a hinderance.

help full
you know that nasty mud that clings and fills up the tread of mt tires and it's like you have a slick and it will only clear with high tire RPM

well chains dig in and push
you don't want high rpm on the tire just slow with chains and it will dig forward

to many chains across the tire and the mud will have the same effect on the chains as it did with the tirE I have seen guys use one inch rope as chains and it worked well didn't last long but it worked.
