Default Looking for a trail on August 8th, North or South of Montreal

I would like to do some serious trail next Saturday somewhere like Chertsey, Weir (or Riew, no preference), Terrebonne, or even on the south side of the St-Laurent.

I would like to do some hard pass like the stairs at Weir or the rock I did at Chertsey last time with -MAW-, Trick Cyclist, neoxxis, Goldorak, etc. You guys are welcome, like all the others who was there but I would appreciate, since I would like real chalenge, to have a minimum of 33". I'm a Rubicon on 35" with a 3" lift and I do not want to break but a little damage do not scare me, as you can see there:

(Thanks to Yan and his friend for those videos!) It gaves me good reason for upgrades.

Also, I don't know all the trails and would not want to be the one who organise that, (Trick Cyclist did very well last time!!) but I want to let you know that if someone want to organise that, well, I'm in!

Alex

Should be OK for the 8th. If you're interested, there are a couple of trails I know at Chertsey that are more advanced. 35 and lockers ideally. I'm pretty sure there will be a run in Weir in the future as well.

August 8th is important since it's my friend's birthday and I promis to bring him to a trail.

Just how serious is it ? I got a Rubi on 35", but not much experience. I want to have fun, but not to either break or be a nuisance to you guys...

Time and expected duration ? Ok with 10 and 13 years old kids ?

Would be great to have you along. I'll be bringing my missus and the kids (2 and 4) so whatever we end up doing it won't be crazy and well within the capabilities of your vehicle. We trail 'slow and easy' to minimise the chances of breaking anything and we can spot you through the technical bits. We both run similar setups to you (35s and lockers); albeit I have a 2-door.

Normally we meet around 9am - get to trail around 9:30 and finish just after lunch / early afternoon.

Alext and I are working out the options, but we'll keep you posted.

To be honest, the trails we are considering will be 33 + rear locker minimum and so anyone running stock could find it too difficult and run the risk of damage. No doubt, there will be other JK stock runs in the Montreal area later in the year so would recommend your JK friend to join the forum.
