Yo All......

When I went to swap out the tires yesterday I removed the spare and saw the whole top of the carrier was fractured and the bottom threaded post pulled right out?

I guess I could get someone to weld the soft aluminum ? Thoughts?

as you may know a 35 is too large for the stock tire carrer and damage is inevitable i suppose you could try to weld the aluminum but i would just throw the tire in the back and start to save for a proper carrier. if has done damage to the carrier it is likely close to damaging the whole tail gate

 

i could sell you mine...really cheap...but it would just happen again. save the money and get a really nice aftermarket bumper and tire carrier.

 

Hey Zeb, you can have mine for nothing - it's just collecting dust in the garage.

BTW need to talk to you about Weir. I think you guys are up there this weekend? There was some issues there last weekend. Looks like lucerne through to and past the stairs is being closed to us.
