suggestion lingham lake and lingham lake rd (hydro feeder) from the west to the east then north of bon echo and back on un named 4 wheel drive access road (another power line feeder) from 41 back west to 62 round trip on trails 8hrs (all day trip)

I have no probs with 25 Oct but 1 Nov is out for me...Deb is home the day before....I could ask if she wants to go though.

Also Scott, we need to sit and chat about next years JK Fest. The core group set some stuff up, and we are going to have to get a touch more serious about it.

I think Nov. 1st would work better for me as I have an exam on the 27th that I should be studying for...but if not i'll try and make it whenever.

 

what i was thinking is we form a small committee of members that give some time and we meet once a month though out the winter
Ideally members should live along 401 corridor so that we can go on rotation to meeting locations or find a centralized areas and meet up. and plan it it out
November till June to plan it up. plus there is work to be done in the back woods lot to make a very technical section winter time work is best for this. I have already started to plan the on property obstacle trail.

 

That is a great idea. One of the issues right off the bat we ahave to consider is the weekend we are planning it on. It looks like we may have a lot of Americans..and the 4th of July is not a good time.

 

if possible can we try to do it in the spring like we talked about....that way i'll be able to help out and join!

 

Nov 1 is probably better for me also, my son has a bday party I have to take him to on the 25th I think, will try and get out if I have to.

 

You guys are killing me.. I move on the 31st so the weekend before and after are no good, you so know the wife isn't gonna let me go anywhere... How about Nov 8th????

Also most of the guys I spoke with said that they didn't want to tent it and would prefer hotels. So we would need to call some hotels and try to get a group rate, and inquire about trailer parking since some of them are trailering their Jeeps up.

Spring was the general consensus since the bugs are brutal in the summer (especially up that way), fall they are planning Rausch Creek part 2, so spring is probably the best option.
