We regularly go up to Minden Ontario frequently in the summer, there are a few events up there to throughout the summer.

This is part of the Kawartha Lakes and Haliburton Highlands areas.....loads and loads of trail around there.

About 2.5 hour north.....spend 5-10 hours on the trail and drive home....makes for a long day (or you could spread it out over a weekend) but well well worth the effort....much fun....and SO quiet to....no tourists

Not really....what part of Toronto are you from? Do you have skid plates and recovery hooks?

There is a spot in Milton Ontario....very short but fun once in a while.

Other than that, nothing. Its all been closed down for development.

We'd be happy to take you to Minden when the ice breaks in the spring.

Hey,

If it's stock it's good to go. All Warnglers come from the factory with a fuel tank skid and an auto (if you have auto only) shield. Judging by the fact that you have the front bumper hooks, means that you have the 31D customer package(I'm going from memory here). So it comes with a few extra options.

With the tow package, you probably have 3.73 gears (2007 had 4.10 on the trailer tow group). You might want to look at investing into some kind of a hook or shackle that goes into the hitch. Princess Auto has some and they start at $20 or so.

When we go, any vehicules are welcome. We actually enjoy having other brands on the trail with us, as we are continually evalutating other makes for their potential as well as their comparability to our current choice.

Another thing, you might want to look at getting is a tow strap. Pricess Auto has them too, and I believe they start at $30 or so. But if you had to pick one thing for now, pick the hook (or shackle) as we have a number of straps between us.

ya dont go for a tow strap.. thats only going to do damage.. get a proper recovery strap.. and since the Jk is 5000Lbs go for something bigger then 2in.i would go with a 20x3in recovery strap and get a tow strap for doing just that towing 30x3in. like mentioned get a reciever hook at PA i picked one up for 10 bucks
your JK is pretty good offroad as stock.. so you should have no issues as long as you listen to the trail lead and follow what he says.. also never go out with out proper comunication.. get a CB of some sorts.
also depending on were your located visit durham4x4.com we do many runs
and there is afew JKs in the club...

see ya on the trails
