Overland Video
44,500 km.....less than 8% left on the rear, less than 10% on the front.....the rear is starting squeal while driving. So I took of the wheels and had a look.
So I went and bought pads, and hopefully if the rain stays away long enough I'll put them on tomorrow.....the rear driver side rotor has a very fine line on it, but not enough to machine down.
So fun day tomorrow.....yay.
I'll be doing the front and rear just to make the whole thing even....new lining all around.

what was that cost?
did you use mopar parts if so part number?
if no part number
these organic pads really wear fast
I'm at 33000kms and looking at them i think i will be in par and doing them prior to 60000kms

Beleive it or not I went with Monroe pads from Canadian Tire....about $44 a set.....so after taxes (Ontarios lovely sales tax) it was about $100 for all four corners.
Looking at the Monroe pads, they seem quite good actually. The kits come with grease and new clips.....and they seem built quite well.
You can't go wrong with the price either.....
Be warned though.....the rear set is HARD to find.....I went to three different CT's and finally got one.....Part Source doesn't even carry the rear, they do carry the fronts though.....weird.
Its raining out, so I haven't been out yet to put them on, but I will get a part number when I get outside.

...Yup as Zeero said they are hard to find..
Even most dealers are still on backorder...if you can find a set then it's a bonus.
Personally, I love soft pads VS. hard ones.
Many manufacturers employ this idea. With soft pads, the wear on the rotors is minimal, and you can frequently go through two or more pads before the rotors need replacing.
With hard ones, you'll have to change the rotors.
The drawback is the extra dust that collects on the rims.
With that much mud on the Jeep at anyone time, the last thing that will worry me is a little extra brake dust.

So, I'm back....
After a long gruelling session raising the Jeep, putting jack stands on all four corners, taking the wheels, calipers, and old pads off......
I open the Monroe brake lining boxes, and to my absolute horror....
.....the wrong pads............... in BOTH boxes....
I stood there and swore, and cursed, and got all hot and mad

So I put everything back together, and will head out after work tomorrow to see what the hell is up at Canadian Tire.....it even says "2007+ Jeep Wrangler FRONT" and "2007+ Jeep Wrangler REAR" on the dammed boxes!!!
So to quell my annoyance with the squealing, I cut off the wear sensors....fack 'em......theres still a good 8-10% on the pads, they're not separated from the shims, so they'll do until I get these hunks of garbage wrong pads returned and replaced.
So, while I was out there all dirty with my tools I took off the Rubicon hook in the rear and installed my new trailer hitch....
So there was a silver lining, but I'm still pissed.
