My subsrciption has ran out .. will not be renewing it ....The PR @ Sirius is horrible, A 180 channel universe when you can only listen to one station at a time ... I have CD's and AM/Fm radio any ways, why would I want to spend money on something that I hardly use, there is not enough Canadian content on it , ive tried finding Hockey games on it and was virtually imposible to do ..The only time I really used the service when I was deep in the bush way upnorth with limited stations , but then again I have CD's if the need arises.
As for now I wont be renewing and was just wondering how many others in our small world love it or hate it ?

I rarely used it when I had the free trial. Mostly just on the really long drives that I do a couple of times a year and find it difficult to find a radio station, worth listening to, while passing through Quebec.

I have my iPod integrated into my radio know and that provides all the music that I need. I don't even know if my CD play does anything other then load and eject discs.

 

I also hear that the parent company in the States is in finacial trouble? Another reason not to purchase a subsciption..You may lose it all any way .

 

I like it, gives me an alternative choice in this small town. If it folds thats OK I pay month by month. I also hard wired the docking station. It has to stay for a while now!

 

i use it all the time, i even did the lifetime subscription.

to each his own, but I love it. football, nascar, jazz bloomberg any place you are driving and it never fades out.

 

ya small town there is 5 fm an 1 am all owned by same company.
besides 3 hrs of playboy in the morning passes time really fast when my jeep is my office.
oh and 1st wave is awesum.

I got it WAAAY back in 2001 when I was working in Detroit. The radio sucks in the US because they have twice as much commercial time as we do. Drove me nuts. Anyway.

Not enough Canadian content? Have your checked out Iceberg? It's 100% Canadian rock. 100%. Beats any station here in Canada. Lots of good stuff you've never heard before. I also listen to CBC a lot. Sure, I could get that on radio, but it's nice when I'm travelling not ot have to hunt around for the next CBC station.

I can't live without Sirius.

Financial trouble? They've been saying that ever since I got it in 2001! 8 years, no problems. I pay month by month anyway, so who cares?

 

I love my Sirius! I have only had my Jeep a week and can't get enough of it, all the tunes, Hardcore Sports Radio....It's great. The other day I sat in my driveway for 10mins listening to the Comedy channel.
