Default soft top at b-pillar.

Hey guys,

Been patiently waiting for my soft top to loosen up and get easier to use. It is getting a lot better. However I am still having trouble with the drip rails for the soft top, right at the b-pillar. There's a little plastic tab on the softtop, similar to the plastic drip rails that clip the roof down. But, this tab at the b pillar doesn't clip into anything and so the softtop kind of pulls up and away at the b pillar. Do any of you guys have problems like this, or am I doin something wrong? Some pix (srry they look a bit washed out, I brightened them up so the issue was easier to see):

drivers side:

In both pics you can see the tab just sitting there, not hanging onto anything.....

YES!!!!!!!!!! YES!!!!

I was thinking once the top gives a bit it will tuck in, but like you said, there is really nothing there to grab into like the front and rear retainers. Nothing has leaked on me with all the rain we had the last week or so, so I was wondering if it wasn't intended to just sit like that?

Look forward to others views...You may get more responses to this in the Stock JK forum as well.....interested to read on..

Yeah, that's how mine is as well. When I first got my JK, I looked at every one I saw in a parking lot with a soft top, and I would say 95% of them had it like that as well. Don't know why, but it hasn't been a problem as far as leaks or anything goes, so I can live with it.

Same here. Bugs me sometimes, but hasn't caused any problems.

I saw this post last night, but now the pictures are blocked at work.

I don't think mine sits up as far as yours do, do they?

I don't have a hard top, so my soft top is well broken in.
