Well if its 4.50 therre, I need to fill up because its cheaper than where I am at...... If its 5.50 then yea, You guys are getting up there. Just wait till the end of summer when its 6.00 a gallon.

 

But it's not fair, you guy's use Imperial gallons, we use real ones.
(for us in the US Imperial gallons are larger than the liters we use, hence the difference, and they don't want us to know this, that way we feel bad for them)

1 L ≈ 0.21997 Imperial gallon 1 Imperial gallon ≡ 4.54609 litres

 

1 us gal = 3.785 liters.

3.785 x $1.50 = $5.68/us gal



edit.. to be fair... thats 5.68/gal in Canadian funds. - - - in all US units = $5.55/gal

 

Of coure it will go higher .. Its a commodity .... This is a direct result of the War the Americans started in Iraq ..Since then its been all up hill .... Do you remember when the planes were grounded on 9/11 and prces dropped like a stone because of the excess fuel , and prices were low until the bombing began ( somebody is making a crap load of money . cheny , Bush and Cronies) ..... there is no regulation on the price , no price freeze , we ship our gas to the US and they can sell it for $1 a litre .. do you think we are getting screwed? EXXON reported last month that they made a 1st quater profit of 11 billion ( holyshit most countries dont make that in a year let alone in just one quarter?) 1 us gallon is approx 3.8 litres
we are paying 1.36 here right now 1.36x 3.8 =5.17 per us gallon

It's $1.40/L here works out to $5.29/ US Gallon and it cost $107 to fill the JK
