spark plugs
well first i must say if you do swap out your champion platinum plugs start with passenger side
the reward will being doing the driver side as it is a lot easier
35000kms on them and they were obviously worn
so i dropped in a set of NGK iridiums
the gap on the stock plugs was also off 1 at .050 and the majority were at .045 with another one at .030
reason i knew it was time for a change the cranking time when hitting the starter had a longer roll over till it caught
these plugs immediately made my jeep run smoother most likely cause they were all gapped the same.
just something you might wanna check if you have a bad idle this isn't the first time i have head of this unusual gapping issue on JKs

a quick reference to wich plugs work in the 3.8l
they are the same plugs used in the 5.7l v8 yrs 05-07
accorging to crapy tire
wanted to swith my plugs too but want to try the "E-3" model
always found that my past jeeps ran smooth w/t bosch platinum the regular ones
the regular champion plugs are good enough but found after 20-30k they needed to be switched out but the color and deposits where always spectacular for temp range and how well the burned

ya cross references should be a 2002 grand caravan with 3.8L
if you can't find JK listed
six of one half the other i guess
the champion plugs stock from factory are platinum tipped but not like a bosch
all in all they work very well and i am very pleased with the NGK iridiums

Did this back in August makes a big diff.. better fuel economy as well.. but my stock plugs where all gapped wrong as well.. good idea to pull out your stock ones and check the gaps regardless of wether you are changing them..
