Default Stopped in for the grand Opening of National 4wd in Smiths Falls

Met the owner, Dan, seemed like a really good guy and it looks like when I do my build he may be able to help me out. He will be sending me a quote for all the crap I want to do and what not. Even said he would get in touch with Kenny from River Raider as that is the route I want to go for armour. Got talking about lifts too. I may look into the Currie Lift (ya ya I know ANOTHER lift choice). I just think it may be an idea to go with the Currie lift and Anti Rocks as I am sure they will fit nicely with the Currie 60's We will see. I do like the johnny joints on the Curries lift for sure.

Anyway, the winch they had on sale was a Runva Winch 10000 lbs for $485. Chinese made. Looked A LOT like a Champion from Costco. I have never heard of the brand. The off road lights they were selling were called Vision X and a couple of them were $109.

Best thing I found out (or worst I guess) is that National 4wd is a Canex supporter which means all govt employees can spend up to $6500, have it spread over 3 years and ZERO interest. That is dangerous for me lol....

sorry I missed it, i had to head over to a friends all day yesterday. That and the bank account has taken another nasty hit recently. Is he an available source for the river raider products?

Thinking along the lines of the HiLift mounts. With the roof and doors off the JK, my husky liners in the rear are starting lift up even at moderate speeds 60 70 km/h and so. Easiest solution is to drop the rear seats if the kids aren't with me, but that won't happen with the hilift under the rear seat.

Cheers

bedline the whole thing hey? what you planning to do? DIY? or line-x? I've been thinking after this summer of wheeling its a pretty necessary thing, it would be nice not to worry about the carpets and stuff anymore. I dont think that ez-liner would be a good choice for it though.

Actually Auto Add Ons has this stuff here called "Reflex Liner", I think I will go that route as it has an almost rubber texture. Thing is they want $750 to do it and YOU strip the jeep.....

I havent ran my carpets in mine for months now.....

todd just be cautious about running johnnys or any heim in the salt areas. They will clean up easy, but will take some maintaince.

Currie's a damn good choice

Ya, but at least Johnny's are maintainable. And for SOME reason I am hoping Currie will cut me a deal on the lift seeing as I am going with those axles lol. Although Tera may have their front 60 out by the time I go to buy also....we will see.

and to be honest, after I am done with the build, it wont be a daily driver for me anymore.....AND I bought a pressure washer

it wouldnt stop me from buying the currie, I just thought I would mention it.

I take my heims apart every spring and clean the surface rust off, its an easy quick job..

IMO, I would stick to companies that make axles as a speciality, Like Currie and Dynatrac. Thats just me
