Default Tcase linkage FYI

While on the trail attempting to shift out of 4 low my shifter broke loose and would just flop around leaving us on the trail in neutral. After laying in the dirt to manually shift the case into
2wd from undedneath with some help with the guys we were with. When i got home i took the console out to discover that it is a 50c chunk brittle plastic that holdes the caple to the shifter can leave you broken on the trail, great design......

Default Not a rarity

That is an extremely common break on the trail. An even more permanent fix, if you are going to keep the stock T-case, is the Advance Adapters replacement JK transfercase shifter cable. Bullet proof!

I am going to get some extras for sure! Maybe make an access spot in the console in case it happens again. Just use a screwdriver to move the cable.

I keep 10 of those in my glove box, for me and others. Got them online, when I ordered some other stuff from the same place, for .20 each.
