Are there any trails near Windsor or surrounding area? My wife an I are going to take a trip up to canada and i wanted to do alittle off roading if possible. Just some nature trails would be fine just want to get the jeep off the road.

The short answer is no. Everything near the border is farm land or conservation areas. You have to stay in MI or go two or three hours further north in Canada to get to Crown Land and have access to trails.

If you want to go further north, do it before November because many of the trails (generally) get turned over to the local snowmobile clubs for their trail prep for the upcoming winter riding season. You can PM me if you want more information.

 

The man speaks the truth, there is absolutely nothing here. You will have to travel at least 2 hours to an ORV park in Michigan, or 3 (but more like 6 for the really good stuff) hours northeast of Windsor.
