Default Tree Rub.

As you guys know, I am not too shy on taking her through some trees and what not...and although I just love the "pinstripes" on my Jeep....(not really) I do also like a nice looking vehicle for my DD

Those of you on the Overland Run may notice you have some Shit stained looking rubs from that tree at the top of the hill. (Steve you dont need to check you dont have any)

Well I tried getting them out with a few things, nothing really worked.....but today I tried a Mr Clean Magic Eraser.....worked AWESOME. Came right off......and then when I waxed her all the other little clear coat shite came out too....
Now if only there was an easy way to clean the fenders and bumpers....I hand applies Meguires (sp?) Tire treatment to the fenders today and seemed to work pretty good....but after waxing and rug doctoring the seats my "give a f$%k factor" was way low....

Cheers....

OK Steve I will stop picking on you

I meant to mention I used that Nu Finish stuff.....didnt get rid of the tree rubs....but didnt too bad on the clear coat pin stripes.....nothing beats a good waxing though....

....so I spend about 5 hours on her today....also bedlined the door sills they were getting pretty scratched....then I decide to go to Costco.....now I have 2 ways to get there...the road...or the nice water filled mud flinging "shortcut"...never guess which way I went...

Oh well she looked nice and clean for abut 10 min today

What about wet sanding?

Wet sand 1200 -1500 grit, and buff with a high quality wax. Guaranteed showroom finish on the paint at least. You will get almost all the tree scratches out.

Much easier to hang out behind a Rescue Green X on an Overland Run....
