Waiting for the Delivery Man/Woman
My goal is to have worry-free wheeling. I often wheel with the kiddies or the missus (and I'm also not too savvy with the mechanicals) so removing/replacing shafts/u-joints on the trail is something I really don't want to do. So I want my D30 to be built above and beyond whatever I put it through - within reason. So if anything, I don't intend to change how I wheel - I just want to reduce the probabilty of breaking something.
My "logic" is that I'm running 4.88s with relatively light (and under-sized) KM2s, so my weak point (the R&P) should be more than capable of handling the stresses that I might subject it too. In other words, I would only find my weak point if I really take the piss out of it.
Anyways, that's the logic. Best keep your eyes out for some slightly used RCVs shafts at the end of the season when my logic has gone out of the window
I saw your tires and rims today Bruce as well as Waynes Toyos They both look sweet, nice rim choice. Looks like Im going with 37 toyos. Everything else seems to be backordered in that size for weeks. Didnt want to spend that much but oh well. Lift arrived today and I must say the RK stuff is beefy. Hopefully everything will be installed next weekend.
I have nothing else ordered. Just enjoying the new lift, shafts and front locker. now I have time to think of whats next. Maybe duel battery system and custom front seats.
Ride is pretty sweat. Got to love a long arm
