is this the one here?
http://www.quadratec.com/products/92134_100_07.htm

Because its listed for $1215.99, and on sale for $1094.39

EDIT:
D'oh, just saw you were in Canada, so you probably were thinking 1500 Canadian Dollars... sorry

EDIT 2 :
Just did some conversions...
1,500 Canadian dollars = 1,236.399 U.S. dollars
1,094.39 U.S. dollars = 1,327.7146 Canadian dollars
so, for 1,094.39 USD from Quadratec, still cheaper than 1,500... one would think.... that, of course, is if it is the same winch in the first place.

+1

Been doing alot of research myself and found that pretty much all the old reliable brand named winches have switched to cheap ass China made motors and are not lasting.

Titan winches seem to have a good track record even after warrenty is up.
They even tear it apart to show you their not from china.

my cheap 10,000lb champion is still working 365$ thats a buck a day so if it was to pop after a year or 2 or three it was still a steal.
you can buy 4 of those pack one on a trailer hitch mount which they come with BTW and carry it in the back for reverse recovery.
available at costco
ps mine is on its second winter

FYI, the 10 000 lb Champion is now $474 at Costco, and they put the same clutch as the Superwinch on it.

same clutch? and same solenoid pack?

then i would go with a titan

makes me pretty happy with mine then. i have had no issues with any of champions products i have there 4000w generator too soon to have one of there water pumps as well.
and i had an 8500lb champion winch that is still going strong on my old YJ.
