I mix up the hamburger with sliced jalepeno peppers and a pack of dry onion soup mix before forming the patties.Once they are done I top with bacon and mushrooms and melt cheese over the top.

One of my favorites is making an herb butter to put inside a burger. Garlic and tarragon mixed with softened butter, then put in the freezer wrapped in parchment in a roll.

Slice off a nice thick slice from the roll and form the meat around it.

I use 85/15 or 80/20 to make olive burgers. chop green olives fine, a few chopped onion fine, a slice of your favorite cheese, throw it in the middle of two lightly partied & thin patties ur good to go...key is to not annihilate the meat...don't massage it...LOL! seriously tho, don't mix the meat keep it as original as u can so that the fat & beef don't become intertwined, makes for lovely juiciness! trick after is too add ur spices on each side on the outside, whatever u like plus salt, the salt brings out the yummy juiciness! try it.

I have actually tried grilling stuffed burgers a couple of weeks back and it was just nice. I tried injecting it with cheese and stuffed in some caramelized onions. It was just nice. You have to be careful with the opening though, as it can start dripping over that side if you place it in too hot.

This one still does not rank that high against the original grilled burger though.

I saw the food network thing too.
Looks good. I just worry about busted seams and having 1/2 the contents spill out
