Anyone have a hook-up at a DC-area dealer?
I called just about every dealer in the area getting quotes for flashing my computer to reflect my new UConnect module. Everyone has been saying it'll be an hour of labor equating to $100-120. This seems ridiculous as every write-up I've found online says dealers do it in less than an hour and typically charge for a half hour or do it free of charge. Does anyone have a hook-up in a service department or know what I can do to get around paying $120 for a simple VIN flash? Thanks guys- I'm trying to not be bummer about buying and installing a UConnect module that I can't afford to enable.

This process takes less than 15 minutes. Tell them you're willing to pay 1/2 hr labor.
