ok cool, They have been cinda holding the same price the last three or four years. Its $195 for the year now which is not to bad when you think about it. I am going to dive it this year with my brother. Being able just drive right up and walk in the water will be great! I am planing on getting my pass sometime in the first two weeks of may. Let me know if you get one and want head upone day. I sometimes go at night during the week just to relax from work.

I can do ither this weekend May 3rd or the 17th of May. I cant make the the run on the 23rd, i have class all day.i would not meetin up someplace and jsut hang out and have some beers and food and good conversation. 
On a second note? Anyone from here ever go to or get the beach pass Island Beach State Park in NJ just south of Seaside Heights? I get my beach pass for there and do alot of surf fishing. I would be cool if a bunch of us did a convoy there one weekend and just had a huge cook out! just a tought.

it would be awsome if we all meet up just out side the park then all go in together then just take up a section of the beach for just jeeps. It is $50.00 for a 72 hr pass or $195 for the year good for 24 hrs a day. We all chip in and have a big BBQ on the beach. I always have a great time with just me and my son and or wife. Just a great relaxing place.

MANDATORY EQUIPMENT FOR A MOBILE SPORTFISHING VEHICLE (MSFV)
Permits are issued to 4-wheel drive vehicle owners for fishing purposes only. Carrying the basic equipment listed is required whenever the MSFV in on the beach.
1) Fishing equipment and bait and tackle for each person over 12 years of age;
2) Tire gauge;
3) Spare tire;
4) Workable jack and board/support for jack in sand (3/4 in. x 12 x 12 in. plywood square minimum size)
5) Tow chain or snatch line;
6) Shovel;
7) Flashlight;
8) Fire extinguisher;
9) Auto first aid kit;
10) Litter/trash bag;
11) Minimum of 1/4 tank of fuel.
