Default Drive on Mrytle Beach?

I'm going down to Myrtle Beach for spring break in a few weeks and was wondering if there was anywhere I could drive on the beach. It would be nice to get away from some of the crazy tourists and be able to relax. If not, what are the closest alternatives and how long does it take to get there?

No driving on the beaches in Myrtle Beach, not sure if you can drive on any beaches around Little River or just across the NC border. Stop at one of those info places and ask them, they can tell you where it's legal.
Have fun.
