So far we have DrewsJK, 09jaykay, and myself as Farmingdale students. There's one other nice JK around campus but I don't think he is a member.

I met a guy tonite (told him about the forum) with a blue 2010 sahara unlimited, he was eyeing up my rig and started asking about lift kits, I gave him a business card.

Seen a 2dr silver JK at ok4wd today, out in the shop. Lifted with AEV wheels and maybe 35's. Had JK stickers on it.

IS that the one they featured in their newsletter this month?

OK. It's not a JK, but it was COOL!
And it was cruising along at 75 no problems. Totally restored.

Yea, I pulled up next to the young couple from Illinois and gave them the thumbs up. She was laughing and he was smiling ear to ear. It was classic "Jeep" time shared by all involved. What year is this?

They are the 1974-1983 Jeep Cherokee, the SJ. The ORIGINAL Cherokees. The Wagoneer were the 4DR versions. If I could find one without the frame being rotted out, I'd buy it and restore it in a hearbeat. 258, 2 360s and a 401 engine were available. D44s front and rear. Beauty of machines.

This one looked like it was from 70's. I was wondering why it said Cherokee but looked like a 2 door wagoneer. I actually thought the 84 Cherokee was the first of that breed. I know it was a huge success, the cherokees of the 80's.

This one was very nice, as I said. And he was cruising alone at 75 with his NAV on the windshield. Very cool stuff.
