I've noticed lately that over the last year or so there are a lot of newbies(myself included) from the area that have joined this great forum. Most of us have not gotten the chance to meet any of the other members out there other than putting a screen name to a picture of that members' Jeep. If there is any interest, I'd be willing to try and put something together for all of us to get together and get acquainted over some food and a few adult beverages. This first one I could have here in the Reading area since it seems to be an equal drive for most...i.e Philly, Allentown, Lancaster, Harrisburg. Of course it won't be open to just Jeepers from those areas, so feel free to chime in if your interested. All are welcome. If the first goes well, then maybe someone else could step up and organize another one in a different area.

Well, on to the details. I was thinking late May/early June. Maybe a Saturday or Sunday afternoon. I'd try and find some place where we could all be outside, and that has a decent size parking lot. I've already got a few places in mind, but maybe you Reading guys could think of some place that I haven't.

Let me know if this is something you're interested in doing. Post when you're available and your ideas or suggestions. I'm open to all of them.

That wouldn't be a bad idea, but maybe sometime in the future. With most not really knowing anyone, I'm afraid people would just wander off and do their own thing and get mixed in with the crowd, thus defeating the purpose of doing something like this.

 

I would be up for a meet n greet in Pa. I'm in York. Only ten min from Harrisburg and Lancaster and Half hour or so to reading and a little over an hour to Philly I think. Never been there.
