Fayetteville, NC Meet and Greet
I've noticed a few Jeepers in the Fayetteville or surrounding area. I'd like to start a meet and greet and see if we can build a Jeep community around here.
I'm thinking January 12th or 19th. Open to suggestions for meeting location and time.
Let me know if anyone is interested! At first we could make it once a month, maybe meet at a restaurant or parking lot somewhere to share Jeep stories, tips, etc. Then once we are a little organized plan a couple of trips here or there.
Who's in?
( I realized I posted this in "The South" staging area but should have posted it in East Coast. So here it is

Ok, looks like there may be enough interest in attempting a meet and greet. Nothing fancy or formal. Just show up, talk Jeep stuff, grab some food if you want (that is up to you) and just meet some other really cool Jeepers!
Date: Next Saturday - Jan. 19th
Time: 1pm - 3pm
Location: Fat Backs BBQ and Ribs (off Hope Mills Rd.)
Invite a fellow Jeeper! The more the merrier
Nice parking lot to the side of the building we can park in. They have their Saturday hours listed as 11 am - until. So I figured we could meet for lunch rather than hope they are still open for dinner lol.
Ok so, Fat Backs is easy 6 or 7 miles off I95, 15 min from Ft. Bragg, 15 min from the mall. Its easy to get to from most anywhere and since it was suggested, figured we would try there first.
From I95 - take exit 41 for Hope Mills. Off the exit go straight into Hope Mills and through Hope Mills. On the other side of Hope Mills look for the Sonic then the ABC store on your left (as landmarks) and then look for the big intersection of George Owen and Hope Mills Rd. You'll see Fat Backs on the right in the little strip mall sitting in front of the Storage Facility.
From Raeford Rd - turn on to Hope Mills Rd. You'll cross over Cumberland Rd., you'll see a small strip mall on your left beside a new building that has just been built. Left lane, you have to do a U turn at the light of George Owen/Hope Mills Rd. then turn right into the parking lot of the strip mall area.
See you all there! We can talk Jeep stuff, maybe plan another meet & greet (date/time/location) and possibly look at some dates for trips to URE and/or Freeman Park.
See everyone next Saturday!! I'll be there in a Crush Colored Jeep
