Default Going to be in Fairfax, VA Tuesday - Wednesday

I am working at a client site down in Fairfax - any suggestions for what to do in the evening after I get out of work? Good places for food and beverage (the adult variety - prefer 'craft' beers)?

Preferably places that might be cool for a lone soul to hang out, dine, and drink as I will be on this assignment alone... also places that might be relatively safe for a topless jeep (more than likely will be) to sit while I partake in a beverage or two.

I have not been to that one, personally. I live 30min north of Fairfax and eat at the one in Gaithersburg almost every week. They have great beer and food is good. Just be careful and check the % alcohol, you don't want to get too drunk.
I've been to the DFH in Rehoboth about 20-40 times in the last 4-5 years. I am well aware of what some of their beers can do to you... LOL. Definitely some good stuff, but I've had almost everything except when they release special batches and such... which luckily they do quite frequently.

I may have to check out the one in Fairfax out if nothing else better rears its head.

Well, I'm here! Interesting little drive in this morning hitting 495 beltway for a few miles... luckily I was only on there 4-5 miles (too long lol).

I only saw maybe 2-3 Jeeps all day on my 3 hour commute - it was hard to believe? (I guess most of it was between 5:30AM and 7:30AM though)

Counting down a couple hours to hit dogfish or some other place I locate via google. If you see my rig, flag me down!

Been to Gaithersburg a few times... had my 350z worked on at Altered Atmosphere and went there for a few meet and greets.

I also got rid of mine (had 145k on it - I owned it all but 10k of that), but I want to get back into a 370 at some point in the near future. I really enjoyed that car and it was very reliable even modded...

I'll have to dig a pic up tonight from hotel...

I do the daily commute from west of Manassas to Bolling AFB (66 to 395 to 295, pretty much across the whole gamut), so there's at least one jeep out there...of course, I leave the house at 0300 and come back at 1230, so traffic at that time "usually" isn't an issue...

If I see you at Dogfish Head, I'll give a wave, since I work in the office building next to the shopping center where it is.

There are a ton of places spaced not too far apart, but with lots of traffic between em.

Uncrowded/Small:

Blue Iquana - can see jeep from inside[

Fat Tuesday's - Peanut shells on the floor kinda place

Buffalo Wing University - great wings

Glory Days - sports everywhere

Large/crowded:

Coastal Flats - Hot chics galor

Bonefish Grille - upscale food

The Auld Shebeen - heavy beers, good selection

Just got back from Rausch and we had the whole place to ourselves for sunday and monday... Pretty dry but lots of fun as always.
Heading out to Snowshoe on thurday for the jamborree but I'll definitly keep an eye out for ya.

My jeep is black but since i'm not washing it between now and thursday its the Muddy one. My plate is my username
