Thought I would give ya a head's up... the report on CNN was not 100% true. Call before going and find out the real truth. From my understanding they are not selling them at 40% off.

 

Somebody sent me a link to that article earlier today. The article reads like it was the Nitro that was marked down 40% and the others are just large discounts.

Might be time to go pick up that Commander.

 

Yeah... what she said.... I called yesterday. For starters they have no Commanders left and they did not sell them for $10k less then invoice. They basically told me that CNN blew the story out of proportion and the dealer will simply sell the cars to neigbhoring authorized dealers at cost if they dont sell to customers. They told me there is 0 chance that they will sell a car below cost.

FYI.... they wouldnt give me a price, but they do have a new 08 Unlimited Rubicon in Flame Red w/ softtop. Doesnt have poer package (locks, window, etc.). They said because it's a leftover '08 plus with the current incentives someone's gonna get a really good deal if interested. Again they wouldnt give me the bottom line price over the phone....

 

ya, Guess I fell for the hype too... I called after I posted the article...
They have one challenger, stone white.

Joe (sales guy who FINALLY answered) said MSRP is $38,170... they are asking $37,170.

If they took off 17,000, I'd have been there before I hung up the phone

 

Weird. They told me they had 2 Commanders and no Rubi's.
