Sorry to hear about your loss, Pete.

Same thing happened near my house to an acquaintance of our family (I didn't know them that well but my parents did) a year or two back - freak storm knocked down a very big tree right onto their car and they were stuck at a light so they couldn't even move (assuming they even knew it was coming)...

 

Thoughts and prayers are with the family - amazing how many people are killed/hurt by falling trees each year, but it never makes it easy on your heart to know one.
