Default Jeeps on Delaware Beaches?

what are the rules for jeeps on beaches in delaware?

we're taking a family trip to rehobeth this summer and would love to play in the sand..

Steve,
I think they only let you on the beach near the Indian Head River inlet and it is for fishing only. I would take the Jeep to Assateague Island if you want to hit the beach. It takes about an hour from Rehobeth. The permit is alot cheaper and the "little one" might get to see some horses.
They have certain requirements like, a shovel, wood for a jack stand,and a few other items. It is fun but it gets sand everywhere.
There is also a kids Water Park at Frontier Town about 5 miles before you get to Assateague.

Wow..that looks really cool with the horses and all.thanks!

I'm deathly afraid of getting stuck tho..need to read the driving on the beech threads

Default Assateague in April

i've got a few days off in april..may take family down for a 2 day trip..any hotel suggestions? a friend of mine suggested a city called Berlin to stay in? any other thoughts are welcome..
