I was planning on leaving Thursday night around 9ish. But if we went Friday morning there would be no need for a hotel.

 

I was planning on going up Friday morning. I usually leave my house around 5AM, gives me a nice drive to Rausch. At most, if tired, stay that same night and come back Saturday afternoon.

I will definitely go if one of the Long Island guys go. We can do a caravan up to Rausch. We can set a meeting spot off the highway (whoever lives closer to, or in, Nassau County) and run from there.

 

I am in. Leave 5am Friday and come back that night unless plans change otherwise, as far as when we return.

Quick question for you guys..
My wife's 07 unlimited has been tough to start in cold morning recently.
She started it this morning and the engine light popped on after a hard start.
Is the battery or alternator going on it?

How long does the stock battery last typically?

Any other problems that might cause this?

If I need to replace the battery I'll be going with an optima yellow or red top from Costco or BJ's.

It currently has 31k miles on it and is still under warranty.

What are the symptoms of the "hard start"? Since it's uder warranty still, take her in!
