That's the part that doesn't do him justice. His shop is tucked behind a boat junkyard on a back road in north Bay Shore. Not much to look at, but the magic is inside. Name of the shop is unofficially Evan's 4x4, and it's on North 3rd Ave in Bay Shore, north of Sunrise, just off Brook Ave. I suggest calling him to set something up as he's not at the shop too much from what he told me...

335 N. 3rd Ave is the address.

516 384 5349 if you want to meet up with him to discuss anything. The work is pretty much by appointment only. Had you of passed by yesterday, today, or possibly tomorrow you might find us there. Finishing up stretching his CJ to 100", +6" over stock. Fuel cell in the rear cab, new 1/4 panel armor using 1/8" plate to make a new wheel well, just finished his ball joints, other misc. crap. Getting ready for this weekend's run to NH to the Swanzey property.

Hey,

I just got back from Evan's place. He took care of my balancing situation and a little more. He told me that you had a Rancho tire mount possibly for sale? Let me know !

I think it's for sale. Fabbed an in-cab carrier and am chopping the frame on the JK to make it more high-clearanced.

How'd you like his shop and what he did?

Going over the JK for the trek to NH tomorrow. Swanzey property, it's in the latest CRAWL magazine, heard great rock crawling there, we will soon see...

Yeah, i saw pictures of your new carrier. Well, if it is for sale, let me know. I may buy it from you. His shop was okay I guess, nothing to look at but, its not a beauty contest, its what you can do. He seemed to know his stuff. Had a lot of knowledge and good tips for me. He balanced my tires. Yet I am getting a vibration in my truck now...not sure if its from that or not. He cut my long lugs so the center caps will fit plush. Also adjusted the "Tow Bar" so my steering wheel is strait. He told me about the club, but my rig isn't set up for the runs that you guys go on. I'll def use him again in the future when I need something that is beyond my capability. Thanks again. Hope you have fun up there in NH.
