Registered for TATA's!

I ended up signing up for both days and took the last room at the Comfort Inn for Friday and Saturday night

 

I'm down. Perhaps wheel somewhere... I'll be going on the Wharton ride Feb.23 if anyone wants to convoy.

I wonder how you got that room? I called the Inn a week ago when i signed up, and they told me the entire hotel was sold out that weekend including the reserved block. Good for you. I'm over at the Hampton Inn for like 3 times the price

 

Someone must have cancelled a room.

 

I got 2 rooms at the days inn for $70 a night, it's next door to the comfort inn, turns out I MIGHT only need 1 room since only me and 1 other friend are going, if our wives don't come we'll won't need the other room, so if someone wants to convoy with us up there they can have the other room. We live in Brooklyn 2 blocks from the Verrazano bridge so it's not out of the way.

Quick question. I am sure that this has been asked a million times but, how do you get a Sand Permit on Long Island? Is it a beach by beach basis or town to town? If any one could give me some tips I would greatly appreciate it.
