Really solid as a slider but not ideal as a step. Strong enough to hold all 166lb of me, but they would have about a 1/4" of deflection with a 200lb'r. No danger involved just a little bit of give under-foot. They weren't designed for downward weight, just upward impact. I welded two extra tabs per side and boxed out the stock mounting points. The tabs bolt to the body bolts. As they are now, they are real good. Solid. Good looking IMHO. High clearance. Best of all I made them.

Grand Prix in Hicksville.
Though I am walking distance from Security Jeep in Amityville, I avoid them like the plague. They are rip-off masters. I posted my experience with them a few years ago and though they may have improved, I doubt it. They am absolute circus act

I got my current jeep from them they actually gave me the best price but I was turned off when I went there and the salesmen tried to tell me the Moab is the same as a rubicon til I had to point to the window sticker and explain to him why it wasn't the same I'm looking to get a billet jkur in the near future
Security dodge are major ripoffs I agree. I knew what I wanted and after getting frustrated with east hills jeep I found my exact jeep down in NJ. I talked to them over the phone set up our whole deal and then drove down one Friday night to get it. They were amazing the entire time and worth the 100 mi trip to get exactly what I wanted, more money for my trade (3k more), and the lowest price by far. It was Lucas Jeep in NJ.
