Moved to LI for work and looking for info on getting a beach permit to drive and fish. Saw a few access spots around Jones and Robert Morris. I sold my JK but have a grand that can still handle some sand driving

 

I got a state pass but they sell it seasonally. Not sure when they will start selling them again. Suffolk County pass I believe you can get year round. Smith Point is 1 place to get it but $90something for the year

Has anyone heard of "the truck shop" in west sayville?! Just wanted to hear some reviews and opinions on their work. If their reliable and do good work?!

Asked the same question a few months ago either here or on another forum and most people said to stay away from the truck shop and RMS off-road. I hear good things about planet automotive in Medford and there's a shop called Blackstone off-road in the LI wrangler fb group.
