Default Looking for shop in Queens/Long Island

I just purchased new gears, a budget boost, sway bar disconnects and some other parts. I have the ability to do all the work myself, Ive rebuilt vw transmissions, audi quattro gear boxes, all sorts of motors, etc.. just not sure I have the time, and Id have to purchase a couple of tools, like for measuring the pinion depth. I'm looking for someone or a shop semi local that has a good reputation and hopefully good pricing. I am probably going to do everything myself but the gears, unless its only a little extra to do some of the other installs. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Justin

Default Bayshore

I heard there is a place in bayshore that does mostly jeep work. I cannot seem to find on the internets. I am waiting to hear from my brother.

Here is the thread for long island on the forums: https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/show...long+island%27

Some of these guys would probably even help you do it yourself.

Did you ever get your gears done. If so by who and were you happy with how it turned out. What size gears and what did they charge?

I am getting them done next month, I need to have a backup car besides my Audi which is 750 horsepower and isn't ideal for daily use. I have my girls car next month so I'm scheduling it then. I am getting it done by a guy who was recommended to me by a few guys on the forum, from what I'm told he does good work. I already spoke to him and he seems like a good dude. I'm doing 5.13's. If you are looking for someone I can pass on his number to you. PM me if you want his info.
