MD Check-In
Hey everyone, I am new to this forum site, and will be getting my JK soon. Going for the 08', just waiting on some pricing numbers to go off of for the deal to work. I just wanted to see who is all on here in MD, roll call peeps!
I live in Joppa, MD which is over east, close to White Marsh.
Just trying to get some feelers out to see who is all in the area.
I am going for the '08 JK, just waiting for the new pricing to come out and to hear if there is anything new with them...anyone know?

Welcome, and yes Maryland has a lot of nothing when it comes to wheeling. The good news is we have 3 states right around us that do. There are great parks in PA and VA. I have also been to WV to wheel.

THATS NOT TRUE!!
There is the Greenridge area. It might not be hard core, but its got some hill climbs, small rock crawling, and the best part is where you get to cross the potomic 3 times.
But i will say that it sucks that its the only place to wheel in md.

As a side note, I went up again to Green Ridge but this time with the family for kicks (didn't take the OHV trail, though). But omg was the dust horrible. It is so dry and the creeks were REALLY low at the crossings... but we went up to the overlook for lunch and it was worth the trip!
And I would agree - we have places to the north in PA and then there is plenty of stuff to explore down at George Washington National Forest. You just have to plan on 2-3 hour trips...
In fact, I think CORE4x4 dot org in DC is planning a trip to PA in early august - you should check that out - they seem like a great group.
