Default Howdy.

Just wanted to say hello to the other MD Jeepers. I just got an 07 2dr Sahara a couple months ago and am greatly enjoying it. As I am still fairly new to the area I am unfamiliar with good areas around here to test the offroad capabilities. Looking forward to finding them though!

Just my 2 cents... best bet if you haven't checked them already is to hit some of the local club forums to see what trails they talk about - but at the end of the day there are a handful of places... checkout core4x4.org, marylandjeepclub.org, offcambercrawlers.com, marylandrockraiders4x4club.com, marylandcreepers.com, virginia4x4.org, easternshorejeep.com, and 4x4icon.com - just some random places I had checked out to get a sense of the places people talked about. Some of the most common places are (in no particular order - and I haven't been to most) Assateague Island ORV, Big Dogs Offroad, George Washington OHV, Green Ridge National Forest ORV, Paragon Adventure Park, Rausch Creek Offroad Park, and other random areas mentioned in different threads. If you are just into scenic roads there are lots of parks to run through. I am fairly new to this all myself - not sure if this helps.

I have to say - looks like we could get a nice group of JKs just from the Maryland area!

I live in Philly now, but still spend a fair amount of time in Harford County where I grew up and my parents still live. I have a stock 2dr Flame Red X.

What's up Fella's!! Jk in Canton here!
This is my third Jeep, moreover this is the first time I could buy a new rig and modify it right off the bat! I guess having a lil loot is one of the only advantages of getting old I can think of.
You guy's know of any "lift friendly" dealerships in the area?

Wouldn't it be better to say you're 30 mins north of DC? And I'm in Bethesda, but recently moved from Germantown 25 mins south of Frederick. lol
