Hey guys! Long time no talk, hope all is well with everyone.
Was hoping that maybe you guys could help me out with something as I am confused and don't know what is happening.
Jeep is stock and only has 33 inch Duratracs on it. When driving at around 65mph there is a strange humming sound that I can hear and feel ( slight vibration ) coming from which seems to be the front of the jeep. I feel it in the gas pedal and then it magically disappears.
I originally thought it could be the tires but I just bought a new set of Duratracs ( 2nd round with them ) and it is still happening. Not really sure how to describe the sound but it sounds like a little CRV with a massive exhaust on it, just not as loud.
Once I hit anything over 65mph it's gone and anything before that it's not there. Everything is aligned correctly, new tires are balanced properly and I know it's not the humming from the tires ( Duratracs are pretty quiet ).
Is it a leak? And if so, wouldn't the humming be there no matter what?
Also, where can I find these Meets on Facebook?
