Woohoo, sounds like we're going to be a sizeable group.
The more the merrier (as long as we all behave )
So we're meeting at:
Pilot Travel Center
I-40 north of Waynesville
Exit 24 (Crabtree Rd)
10:30 AM
Saturday 13 July
rain or shine
barring any nasty surprises of course
At the moment, the weather report is for clear skies and 85 degrees. WOOHOO! DOORS OFF!

Does anybody have USGS topo maps of the area?
There appear to be a lot of forest service roads in the area.
Anybody up for some exploring maybe?

It's a haul for me, but I might head up there on Saturday if you guys don't mind a few more. Anyone know how overgrown this trail will be with all this rain we've been having? I stopped at the Pigeon river last week on the way back from Knoxville and that puppy is moving pretty good. I can only imagine we're in store for some pin striping back there! I dunno know though. Sounds and looks like a good trail though. Looking forward to it, and hope it works out so I can come up.
