Oh, yeah!!! I got certified and had to dive that thing in June and the bottom temp was 65 degrees. My son got certified last summer and had to dive it in May and the temp was 55 degrees. 7mm wetsuit, hood, gloves and booties can't even touch the chill
There is a plane, school bus, platforms at various depths, and a few cars down there. Not bad in a dry suit

Possible meet and greet
In listening to the thread and seeing that some folks are looking for a meet and greet....which may get us out on the trails more as a group...
I am in Arlington, so here some good irish pubs in the area:

I'd be game for a M&G as well! Let me know which evening. I'd opt for either Sam Becketts or one of the old pubs in Old Town Alexandria like Bilbo Baggins, Murphys or O'Connells.

Sam Becketts in Arlington/Shirlington would have more parking available....
Let's try for next tuesday, 21 August at 7pm...that should give us all time to coordinate for an "official" meet and greet.
Tomorrow night I am still going to Sam Becketts to hoist a few and hang out for pub trivia.....so if anyone is in the area and interested...

Anyone available to go to the Nationals and Braves game on 8-21-12. I have another skybox ticket available. My buddy bailed last minute. I have a room reserved near the stadium for $119 so it's a you $60 split. I'll be up there by 1 to catch some happy hours too.
