Just found this... not that I would have had time to go but rather jealous, I have been wanting to do Potts for awhile now. How was it? We had decent weather here especially Sunday. How was the trail? I am really hoping to get out there before it closes for the winter this year.

Pott's was a good trip. I'm on 35's and had a good time. I did scratch some metal underneath and tear off my trailer harness but it's since been fixed.
I'd bet it'll be much more challenging with precipitation out there. I know the trail closes certain times in the year.
I've got a friend going to URE this coming weekend, I've not decided if I'll be able to make it yet.
I ended up going to Crabtree Falls and Spy Rock for a hike this past weekend since my friends were unable to make it out.
