I'm with usgaone. The Comfort Inn is too inviting. Call me a wimp. But, I'll be a warm wimp.

My new tires/wheels are in!

Wheels are Crager soft 8's. 15x8
Tires are Pro-Comp MTs. 32x11.5

One....small....problem. Only 2 of the 5 were correct. I guess the other 3 belonged to someone else's order. The error is being corrected, but it will be a while yet before the 3 others arrive.

The Jeep looks hilarious right now.

Oh well, it will be all fit and ready to go long before January. I just wanted to prepare you all for the new sexy Jeep that will be joining your group.

We are still leaning more towards the 6th so our son can join us this trip too. The 5th is a long shot - if he doesn't have a wrestling meet AND doesn't have to work. Yea, like that is going to happen.

Comgrats on the wheels and tires! Did you get a lift too? Maybe upgrade some of the skids.

I'm thinking we'll (Renee and myself) defintely wheel that Saturday 5th, and probably do a few trails on Sunday the 6th, heading home in the earlier afternoon. I'll probably drive up early am on Saturday to meet everyone, then just stay Saturday night at the hotel. Dinner at Red Lion, if we get enough we'll call ahead for a reservation.

Because you are a very wise man.

BaltChief got the two [correctly sized] on, discovered the error with the third (it was not an obvious difference), and then the fun started. It really came down to daylight hours vs. hours of operation. Suffice it to say, the rest of the evening was spent on the phone. Better to ignore the fact that the Jeep looks drunk (tipsy). It really does look hilarious.

I want to get pics of it NOW.

Edit: I hung onto my family car so commuting is not an issue. The next morning - post tipsy Jeep syndrome - I discover my Santa Fe has a flat back tire. What is it with me and tires these days?

All fixed!!! The Jeep looks really sharp. Definitely no more "tipsy Jeep syndrome" and no more "smallest kid on the block."

I will try and post some pics in the Show and Tell section later tonight.

Funny but I got a look at the correct wheels and incorrect wheels side-by-side. There is no real visible difference in them. Wrong lug pattern?
