it's been raining for the last 2-3 days in the NYC area...

EDIT: read in some other forums that despite the rain, folks that have been to the PB in the last couple days say the area has been dry. The summer heat has been brutal. No matter, still fun to explore (being a newbie), and less cleanup afterwards.

I might be interested if I can get someone to come with me. I hate driving down there alone, and was was just there on the 15th. Very dry. :(

 

even though there isn't any water, there are spots i've been to in the Barrens where you can climb over giant mounds of dirt, and drive up and down crevasses (cut by water) - good place to practice for a noob like me - i just don't remember where they are... i'll check out google maps to see if i can find it.

 

Thx for the heads up. I finally saw the news clip. I'm definitely not interested in breaking any laws or destroying land,... Just some muddy exploration

Sorry i could not make it. called in to cover a another persons shift from 6am till 5pm. same thing for tomorrow.

 

great fun yesterday (leeds & entropy showed up). thx for the multiple tugs and winches i got. while more dry than not, definitely enough water out there to have fun. looking forward to seeing the pics.

 

My FTP doesn't seem to be working right externally, so we'll have to use photobucket, or imgur which doesn't need registration and doesn't reduce quality.

 

my dad and i had a great time wheeling with you two yesterday. you should have seen everyones faces when we pulled up in front of harrah's (we're staying in the hotel). the parking garage attendent asked me what happend this morning when we left. my dad said i should have told her that i think the parking garage has a leak or something and that they can expect to get the bill.
