CANCELLED DUE TO LACK OF JEEPS. Due to the loss of commited drivers and the short notice i gave people this weekend is not poss.
I will reschedule for Sept 6, 2008 in an upcoming thread. Prob be the same conditions as cancelled ride but I hope to get permission to up the jeep count to more than 6.

even tho its about 5 hours away for me, i'd love to go, but i cant make it this weekend.


i am wondering where these trails are and how come its such a rare thing to run them? is it a private piece of land or something?

The trails are through an old resort and normally only run during the jeep jamboree. They are redoing the whole place and Im one of the lead surveyors on the project so I was able to get permission. I found out about the trails when I started locating wetlands up there in 02 just wasnt into jeeps. I used to take my runner all over the place to get t work areas.

This should be an awesome ride. With great trails. This site (catskillsjeepjamboree.com) has some pictures of the trails. They look like a lot of fun.

Would I have a problem getting through the trails with my stock 32's?

Hey Guinness, see you there @ 8:30 . About how long do you expect to be on trail ? (should we pack a lunch?)

Tony23- you should be able to handle alot of trails w/ 32's I did a bunch w/ ifs and 33's on my runner. Mud or all terrains would be pref. and we can always find a way around or out of a jam.
also let me know if youre going to make it so i can update list. If you want you can always ride shotgun w/someone.


ricrac12525- your number 3 on the list. you can pack a lunch or a couple places near by. glad to hear your going to make it. we can pretty much play it by ear, as far as how long were out there.

Ill check in early tomorrow morning for any updates. After that it wont be till late afternoon early evening(trying to install skid plates)
