I'm looking to head back to Uwharrie on Friday and Saturday (22-23 April).. looking to see if any of the fine folks on this forum will be there?

 

(Mud and Blood) is doing a charity event at the flats that weekend. I was going to go but I have to work on Sunday so its a no go for Either places. I hope to get back out there to actually camp next month instead of staying at that crappy Days Inn. (Some Jackass stole a Shackle) off my Jeep while I was sleeping. Good thing I didn't catch him I would have put a 40 cal hollow point from my GLOCK 22 in his kneecap and called the sheriff on his ass. I always roll packing heat.

 

Yeah, I'm lucky enough to have Friday and Saturday off. Have to work Sunday.

Yea that days inn is a hole. Sometimes if I end up staying longer than intended I'll stay in albemarle.

I've yet to stay in a hotel/motel up that way. Most of the time I've just went for the day or pitched my tent.

This trip is a combination of testing a couple changes to my suspension since my trip yesterday and to test my new tent. I've finally moved from a 'crawl-in' tent to a 'walk-in' tent. I purchased a Coleman 8 person instant tent. Has two rooms so I have a front porch that is screened in and a bedroom! Supposedly two people can pitch it in 1 minute and a single person can do it in 2-3 minutes. I'll be finding out.. hehehehe...

 

Some of our guys will be up there, and maybe me. Not sure yet.
