I had a great time, despite getting stuck a number of times...

Walt (apologies if I fumble the name(s)), thx for saving my ass from having a soggy drive home... waders on next on my "mod" list :P

Nick, et al, thx for the speedy fix of the fan issue. It got me home through GWB traffic. I definitely would not have thought to jump the fan relay... I've added a *complete* set of fuses to my spare list. Sorry about the hydrolock... on another note, if I was closer I'd love to be around to help fix it!

Re: trail guiding... apologies all about the tight trails. I was following the trails marked on the gps. I know I mentioned to a few folks that the trails will be tight, I should have individually given everyone a heads up. I shoulda just let Rick lead.. might have saved me from getting dunked too!

Sadly I'm out for the 14th.

Great pics & vids!

Don't worry about it, it happens. It's not like we can turn around when we get going, just a head up for future reference.

Glad to hear you made it home, hope it was worth the drive. Next time you come down give us a shout.

Scrappy, You are clearly the man when it comes to putting a ride together. Get that next thread started for the 14th! If it snows before then, you will be getting a call!!

I'm on it. I'll do it now.

3 coats of Wax and an orbital buffer and most of the scratches came out.

I learned that most will in fact buff out. The ones that I haven't figured out are the scratches in the hard top.

I just got around to power washing mine today. I woke up yesterday with a damn cold.

Yeah the deep ones to thru the paint won't come off but, eh. At least it doesn't look like I drove thru a chain link fence anymore.

I also power washed some of the engine mud out. Looks better than it did.

If you figure out how to get the hard top scratches off please let me know
