Safe to assume that they have a permit for us and we do not need to pay at the entrance to Sands?

I'd bet you still need to pay the Sand Flats fee.

Thanks Planman! while OR-Fab pulled a permit with the BLM everyone should be prepare for any other fees.

I'd plan on paying. Even though it is blm land, the county runs the gate. The national parks pass should get you in, and I've tried everytime, but they won't honor it since it's county ran not blm. There is county land up that way too. They just charge everyone.
