I retract my previous statement.... notching the bumper is a requirement... I still like this set up if keeping he factory bumper.... 45lb Bulldog winchplate kit? Wow! Be nice to see a few drain holes in the bottom of the plate in the corners but that thing looks SOLID! Very nice set up!

Also noticed the smithfield aviaion reference there... are you in the aviation industry on the Island?
notching was NBD. I rushed with unfamiliar tools (swiped some from the wife's wood working shop and had to go fast before she caught me ) and it almost didn't look like ass.

Yeah - working on the drain holes... not a problem so far but if it ever stops raining I'll get the drill out.

Smith Field Aviation... long story. Bottom line is that my yard is the Island's smallest aerodrome and will hopefully one day be home to a Bearhawk (I own plans...)

LOL... ya swiping the wifes stuff is never cool especially if they catch you lol.
Rain hasn't stopped here either. Some of the puddles have swamped a few Hondas already.... funny to see.... not even a flash of the brake lights and SPLASH!!!! Stall... stop... game over.... gotta shake your head... did you not notice the large lake in front of you!!!!

A bearhawk really wow
A STOL 4 person aircraft somewhat similar to the Piper cub (the ability to carry 2 more people being the most obvious diff lol)

Sounds like fun.. I've been fixing airplanes for about 17 years now... started with smaller a/c and am now I'm in commercial aviation working on the Boeings this would be a fun project good luck with it.

Good looking winch and winchplate setup dude

Looking good Kurt

Prertty sad looking with it all dismanteled isn't it lol. Those flares aren't real wide are they wow!

I see the nutserts gave you a bit of trouble too on the front bumper... two are still on the steel bumper

I'd still be interested in the flares in the 100-150 range if you wanna get rid of them just let me know.

Lookin meaner all the time dude... right on!

Yea, I've since taken the nutserts out of the bumper though and screwed them back into the bumper cover. I've got a couple people coming to look at the bumpers this week. Flares ARE still for sale though ...somehow? I'm getting a lot of interest but no one has bought them yet...? I'm asking $199 OBO. $150 and they're yours, man! Let me know. Can PM you my number or v/v if you like.

I finished up installing everything today except the things that require wiring work, but I'm having those installed next Friday - I'll post up pics of my completed 'Project JK' next weekend, haha. I'm stokedddd!
