I am sorry I had to leave, there are a ton of great little spots to play around on the verdict on my rig was a broken front drive shaft. I will get it fixed up at some point and we will all have to get out again. It was great to meet everyone! Hopefully we can do it again soon!

 

Hey dugie, you need to come to Moncton and wheel out here, I'm sure we could find some challenges for you!

Yep great time for sure and will definitely have to do this again. Great group of people and had alot of fun and laughs. Guess it's proof that it doesn't matter what you do to have fun but how you do it lol.

Good memories and good laughs with good people. I hope everyone had fun and it wasn't too difficult nor too easy. Hopefully next time it won't rain on us so much and we'll stop along the way to eat.

Sorry you had to leave early Doug and I was curious to find out if it indeed was the front shaft. :-( Getter fixed up and we'll have ater again.... still killing me with the 37" iRoks dude!!!!!

First run I've been on, as I stated that day, with 10 JK's and only one TJ... WOW... how to represent the JK nation folks

People really came together for this one.... Moncton, Sackville, Amherst, Elmsdale, Enfield, Halifax, Dartmouth, Parts unknown (Jay?), etc.... right on guys n gals and thanks again for making it possible.

I'm still grinning at the pics and vids lol.

Oh and next MOD for you guys should be a radio.... part of the fun chatting and torturing each other on the airwaves lol. You'll see !

Never thought back in October of last year when i posted looking for some people to trail ride with that the run would turn out like it did. It was awesome i cant say it enough.

Thank you to everyone for all you did, even if it was just showing up and riding.

Maybe we should start planning the next one

 

Thanks to everyone who came out. The trip was that much better just having such a great group. I had an absolute blast. I was hoping to run the winch on a maiden trip, but those 35's just didn't disappear quite far enough. I'm kinda scared at the thought of how far they would have to go to be far enough lol.

The drive home was hell with these factory headlights and no fogs in the rain. Fortunately a set of Lightforce 140's showed up today.

It was great to meet so many new faces even if we all know the screen name or jeep in pictures. I'm looking forward to the next trip. Let's not let it be another 2 years!

 

UPDATE on the Drive Shaft.

My rubber boot on the shaft was ripped, allowing the grease to get out and dirt to get in. In the process it seized it self up and would not expand and contract like it should when the jeep was flexed out. When I flexed out the shaft shortend but did not expand back so it fell out. :(

Check your rubber's!

 

Yep... can be pretty scary to have your rubber ripped and only notice it after you use it! LOL

Did you get er fixed up yet Dugie? Going with the conversion to U-joints?
