Default My build

My 2012 Rubi had an accident.....it's ok, it wasn't that bad. The end result is I don't have a hardtop anymore but I have 5k from insurance for mods. I'm starting with smittybilt XRC front and rear bumpers, XRC sliders, RR XHD snorkel, warn VR8000 winch and warn fogs. All but the snorkel is in and picked up last night.
The sliders went on fast and easy last night after work. I couldn't wait until the weekend.
Here's the before.

Got everything except the fogs and winch controller mounted. Need a spacer for the spare, going to wait for the new rims and tires before I size that up.

Everything fit like a glove only need 1 washer for one side of the front bumper and minor hole reaming for the passenger rock rail. The vacuum pump relocation took some time but the final result was a factory looking final product, only to find out I didn't need it as the bumper would have fit without it. Oh well.

Mounted and wired the fogs today. Drilled I hole in my new bumper ;/ and fished the wires inside the bull bar, connected to the factory harness with butt splices and heat shrink. Finished it off with some wire loom.

Next is the winch controller. I'm thinking because the box isn't water resistant I might relocate it in the cab and run longer cables. When I have the fender off to do the snorkel will probably be a good time for that too.

Thanks Steve. I'm like a kid on Christmas. I'm loving it, she's definitely starting to turn heads. It's looking like I'm going to have to put at least a
Levelling kit on it, she's sagging a little. Surprisingly with all the extra weight the gas
Mileage is getting better, not that I care.
Maybe changing the aerodynamics has something to do with it.

I had to use a longer bolt to get them down enough for the tops of the light to clear the bar. For a spacer I used rubber chair feet 3/4", works great as a spacer and helps with vibration. I double nutted inside the foot.

My Hawse fairlead came in. The snorkel came and was missing pieces and looked like someone already tried to install so the vendor is going to contact rugged ridge to see what's up and get a new one.
