I just got my V6 Rubicon Unlimited in the South of France. Near Nice. I also live part of the year in Irvine, California, and in the Canary Islands where I have a heavily modified TJ. I will be driving my Jk into Spain, Italy and Switzerland. It would be cool to meet up with people.

HELLO London calling!

Had my Diesel Sahara Unlimited for a year now and done 19,000 miles. Commuting into central London every day and finding it the perfect wagon. All those narrow streets mean you can bump up and down the kerbs when an idiot parks his van badly! and, yes, it does go offroad!

With the cruise control it makes for relaxed cruising on the motorway. My only problem is with the lights as they are very weak. After filling up the left headlight with water (off road in Yorkshire) the bulb exploded and the fragments did a great job of removing the silvering in the headlamp. My local dealer has just closed down and the next nearest couldn't book me in for 3 weeks to sort it out.

Thanks to this forum I found out how to access the bulbs and did it myself in minutes.

im in scotland and got my 2.8crd sahara unlimited manual, last november. luv it so far, apart from the problems fuelling it up, takes forever.
so does anyone know of a good place for jk parts/upgrades in the eu or uk?
ive found one in france which looks pretty into jk's but very expensive.
indiancars.fr -the french one and heres a few others but websites are not very good at showing what they can get.
devon4x4.com
frogsisland4x4.com
surreyoff-road.com
offroadmdg.co.uk
-they are 4wheel parts wholsalers so can get anything from the USA

im interested in any other places to get jk parts, please share.
thanks

I'm researching this myself at the moment. See my shopping list below! fte dot co dot uk and specialist-leisure dot co dot uk are two that I'll be speaking to very shortly. I want to get my bumper ordered and check out what's available on the wheel and tyre front.

I've been greenlaning in Thetford in my old TJ but haven't been back in the JK yet. You are quite right about the room you get given on the road! I drive in to the City of London every day as I work at the Lloyd's Building and the traffic is pretty dense. Changing lane never seems to be a problem though!

thanks that fte.co.uk site give a few more options. i wonder why the went through all the hassle of getting an american stock import and building it here rather than just buying a really decent one with all the mods done and then shipping. i would love an offroad evoloution jeep with coilovers

Currently living in Northern Italy and have gone wheeling through the Dolomites (Alps) a few times as well as Piemonte. The old WWI/WWII mountain trails are great!!! (but scares the s*** out of my girlfriend!!!)
