Screen name or real name: nthinuf
Location: Austin Texas, but really need to get back to Colorado…
Jeep Info: 2008 Sahara auto
Stock Options: Whatever came with a 2008 Sahara, ya know, carpet, power windows, power locks, dual-top, stuff like that.

Modifications:
err… It has been a slow build in progress since Jan 2008. Pieces and parts were added here and there as the tire size and lift height increased, or as the newest problem came to my attention.

Tire sizes:
Stock 32’s, 295/75/16’s (33.4”) Nitto Terra's, 315/76/16 (34.6”) Maxxis Bighorn, 325/80/16 (36.3”) Falken Wildpeak, and my current 37/12.50/17 Cooper STT Pro's (36.77”)

Suspension:
OME HD coils (3.25”, instead of the 2"+ I was told to expect)
OME + spacers (4”)
Coils/spacers +1.25” BL (yeah, it was RC’s xmas deal of the day, figured I’d try it).
Scrapped it all and went to MetalCloak 3.5” with all arms and OME LT shocks (4.5+”).

Drivetrain:
PR44 front (after imploding the stock D30). Rear tubes were rewelded, but otherwise it is still working fine. 5.13, then 5.38 gears. Air lockers (still thinking I should have settled for Truetracs, perfectly fine for my use…) Ten Factory shafts. Woods 1310 front.
(really should have picked up a rubi 4:1 at some point, always seemed to be a lower priority.)

Steering:
All Synergy stuff, flipped.

Other mods;
20-something year old Warn winch, RR front bumper with removable endcaps (good thing, since they started rubbing the tires back with the 35’s), rear TF tire carrier, Olympic rear frame cover in lieu of bumper (tires were rubbing, couldn’t decide which of the expensive options I wanted, so ended up with that – and liked the look…). Bartact seat covers. Hella 500's ($20 clearance rack at Walmart). On my 5th (maybe 6th?) set of stock fenders to chop up and destroy on trees and rocks. Been running a fastback soft top for several years now, but just picked up the hard top from the local LINEX shop - looks pretty sharp.

Future plans:
Absolutely no idea where it'll end up. But, I’m getting old and lazy enough that a shorter lift is making more sense these days than jumping in and out.

A new Colorado owner figures out how to remove the top panels. Look at the monster clearance this thing has!!

That was waaaayy back when I had no intention of lifting and modding and dumping cash.

OME HD and 295/75/16's in Texas.

OME HD + Spacers and 295/75/16 at Illinois Gulch, Colorado

OME + Spacers and 315/75/16's at Hackett/Longwater/Metberry Gulches, Colorado

MetalCloak 3.5" and 325/80/16. Yeah, doesn't look like a 37" tire there, does it...

And, currently on 3.5" MC with 37" STT Pro's

Very nice! I have run the OME shocks (the LT version) for several years. They hold up great and are nicely priced. Thanks!

.....so there was a time when you started out like the rest of us? I like seeing that somewhere along the line we all had much, much lighter builds. Seems like we all made the same mistakes of 33's hoping they'd be a little bigger.

Lol, I posted that last April, how did it show up in November? But yeah, same learning curve as many of us, throwing money at incremental increases until we finally get to the end. Which is just the beginning of whatever is next.

I have to finally ask......what is your screen name? Whenever I see it I think "nuthin nuf".....but then I figure it could be "nathan ___ (something)", but could also be "nothing you F"

nt hi nuf = not high enough.
It was originally submitted as my license plate, but it got denied as a drug reference instead of a 4x4 thing.
